The Specialist, Accounts Payable, is responsible for reviewing, processing, auditing and reconciling a variety of accounts payable items (i.e. invoices, vendor statements).

Responsibilities
  • Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail for upload to Easy Access.
  • Review and respond to internal and external vendor Inquiries.
  • Process and match invoices and credits in Easy Access.
  • Prioritize invoices according to cash discount potential and payment terms.
  • Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies.
  • Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
  • Occasional cash related duties and/or wire payment input
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years of accounts payable experience.
  • Concur T&E expense report auditing experience nice to have.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Pharmaceutical or biotech experience preferred.


The level of this position will be based on the final candidate's qualifications.
