(Seattle Based Position)

Partnering and developing strong relationships with our leaders across the organization, you will be providing full-cycle recruitment, driving the recruiting efforts for your assigned requisitions including sourcing and screening resumes, performing phone screens, post interview debriefs, offer workups, participate in career events and entering data in the ATS, etc. for a variety of temporary and/or regular-full time positions.

Who is Omeros?

Omeros is a commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company committed to discovering, developing and commercializing small-molecule and protein therapeutics for large-market and orphan indications targeting inflammation, complement-mediated diseases, disorders of the central nervous system and immune-related diseases, including cancers. In addition to its commercial product OMIDRIA (phenylephrine and ketorolac intraocular solution) 1%/0.3%, Omeros has multiple phase 3 and phase 2 clinical-stage development programs focused on complement-mediated disorders and substance abuse. Omeros also has a diverse group of preclinical programs including GPR174, a novel target in immuno-oncology that modulates a new cancer immunity axis recently discovered by Omeros. Small-molecule inhibitors of GPR174 are part of Omeros' proprietary G proteincoupled receptor (GPCR) platform through which it controls 54 new GPCR drug targets and their corresponding compounds. The company also exclusively possesses a novel antibody-generating platform.

What are your job responsibilities?

  • Assisting in driving talent management, you'll be performing full cycle recruiting activities including partnering with management on positions, sourcing and screening potential candidates, coordinating on-site interviews with the Recruiting Coordinator for temporary, temp-to-hire and regular full-time openings within Omeros
  • Partnering with the Recruiting Coordinator, determining job posting sites
  • Assessing candidate information to determine matches between candidates and position requirements, submitting qualified candidates to management
  • Ensuring signed Confidential Disclosure Agreements (CDA) are received from candidates prior to engaging them
  • Conducting interviews, including phone screens, candidate debriefs and reference checking of potential candidates to determine skill match, and informing candidates on position requirements, benefits, recruiting process, etc.
  • Partnering with the Talent Acquisition Manager and Sr. HR Manager in preforming compensation analysis in preparing candidate offers
  • Establishing weekly recruiting status meetings with hiring managers
  • Collaborating with new hiring managers to provide training as needed
  • Managing, updating and tracking candidates and requisitions on ATS
  • Sourcing, networking and prioritizing multiple searches for a varying level roles
  • Establishing relationships with agencies, including preparing Work Orders and becoming the liaison between management and the agency
  • Participating in special projects/recruiting initiatives, manage weekly requisition reports to ensure accuracy of data
  • Assist in managing the employee referral program including quarterly advertising campaigns for internal employees
  • Assisting Sr. H.R. Manager with immigration process for current employees
What education and experience do you need?

  • BA degree or equivalent work experience is required
  • A minimum of 8 years of corporate full life cycle recruiting experience is required; experience recruiting in the pharma/biotech industry desired
  • Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office and experience working with an ATS; Taleo experience is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate candidates for cultural fit
  • Excellent grammatical and proofreading skills
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills; high sense of urgency
  • Negotiation skills
  • Accurate data entry
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to write routine reports, correspondence and job ads

Physical Demands Required:
