Director, Global Compensation

The Director of Global Compensation leads a team of top-tier professionals who are responsible for Regeneron's global compensation strategy, policies and programs. Our goal is to develop, implement and run a comprehensive, compelling total rewards portfolio that helps attract top talent and empower employees to deliver excellence in service of Regeneron's mission. This role partners with the rest of the total rewards team to provide thought leadership, innovation, executional excellence, and a focus on an outstanding employee experience through strong communication and engagement.
As the Director of Compensation, a typical day might include:Partnering with Total Rewards leadership to lead short- and long-term compensation strategy for all levels within the organizationLeading the compensation team through key enterprise-wide processes (such as annual merit, stock, bonus, etc.) and advocating for and encouraging professional development of team membersAdvocating for a consultative approach through partnering with HRBPs and Business Leaders on compensation challenges. Recommending solutions ranging from individual employee recommendations to tailored compensation program interventionsBuilding the links between compensation and Regeneron's mission and strategy. Driving fairness and compliance in pay practices and policiesPrioritizing effective and impactful compensation communications programs for employees, managers and leadersLiaising with Finance, executive leadership and external consultants to set, assess and report on the financial aspects of compensationThis role might be for you if:You have aligned compensation strategies across Total Rewards, HR and business strategies globallyYou possess deep expertise on the external market, the latest trends and innovative thinking around compensation and translating data into creative, culturally and organizationally appropriate solutionsYou have a passion for building rapport with key leaders within and outside HR to understand the voice of the customer and include it in design and execution of compensation plans and programsYou keep employee experience top of mind in development of communications, tools and programs to encourage understanding of, and access to, the right information at the right time for employeesTo be considered for this opportunity you must possess a Bachelor's degree and 10 - 15 years of demonstrable experience, including success in setting and executing progressive compensation strategies. Leadership management experience with a strong dedication to mentoring and developing teams. Deep technical knowledge of laws and regulations. Ability to handle multiple priorities, prioritize and make decisions in a constantly evolving environment. Experience in a high-growth, high performing innovative company highly preferred.
