Who You Are:

The Director/Senior Director of Commercial Analytics will report directly to the VP of Commercial Insights, Analytics & Operations. This individual will be responsible for leading critical analytics workstreams and building the required infrastructure to support strategic business decisions and organizational success across the BridgeBio portfolio.

  • Serve as an active member of the BridgeBio Commercial Team
  • Use business analytics and marketing science to provide performance and market-based insights to senior leadership and key stakeholders
  • Design, implement and maintain performance reporting dashboards across launched brands, balancing consistency with tailoring as appropriate, and bring updates along with strategic implications to Senior Leadership.
  • Use secondary data sources to answer critical business questions that shape launch strategy, to support forecast assumption updates and/or managed market initiatives
  • Oversee data set procurement and ensure effective integration into the data warehouse.  Develop data governance to provide centralized data acquisition and contribute to the data quality process for data mastering
  • Support sales force sizing, alignment, customer mastering, segmentation, and/or targeting workstreams
  • Evaluate, determine, and lead organizational methodology for promotional effectiveness workstreams, employing advanced analytics/omnichannel optimization techniques where appropriate.
  • Begin as an individual contributor, but as we scale, hire, develop and maintain talented additional data analytics, business intelligence, and/or sales analytics experts to form a highly effective centralized team

Education, Experience & Skills Requirements:
  • BA or BS; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 7 - 10+ years experience in the Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry, including a demonstrated ability to recruit and develop talented individuals
  • At least four years in Commercial Analytics or Operations (Sr. Mgr/Group Mgr/AD or above)
  • High analytical capability with a history of leveraging data and analytical techniques to optimize business decisions. 
  • Expertise in claims and Rx, national and subnational datasets and adept in selecting data sources in a variety of disease areas
  • Experience in designing/managing/implementing business intelligence reporting platforms (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI)
  • Skilled at clearly communicating the insight as well as the implications and recommendations distilled from the analysis
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving, dynamic, and evolving small-company environment
  • Experience in promotional effectiveness/ROI/marketing mix approaches and/or sales force analytics and operations preferred 
  • Strong project management skills—the ability to plan, organize and execute multiple projects efficiently, on time, and within budget
  • Intellectually curious, seeks and evaluates innovative approaches
  • Experience in the rare disease space preferred
  • Specialty product launch experience in the US; rare disease therapeutic launch highly preferred
  • Ability to lead by example, build partnerships and cross-functional collaborations with open communication, constructive feedback, and organizational flexibility
