The Director Process Sciences at IOPS (Regeneron's Industrial Operations Product Supply) supports Bulk Manufacturing and Business Operations through the control, monitoring, and troubleshooting of biologics manufacturing processes. We are looking for a strong leader who has a deep understanding of biopharmaceutical process sciences.
As a Director in Process Sciences a typical day might include the following:
• Develop and utilize best in class technologies in data analysis and raw material analytics
• Develop and qualify scaled-down model systems of manufacturing scale operations
• Stay current with new technology trends in bioprocessing and develop technology roadmaps
• Collaborate and align with scientific partner groups
• Assist in technology transfer activities
• Lead, mentor and empower a team

To be considered for this opportunity you must possess proven experience of at least 12 years within the Biopharmaceutical industry. A Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Life Sciences is strongly preferred. Prior experience in gene therapy desired. Will substitute experience in Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing Operations for advanced degree requirements if candidate has a master's degree in fields listed above.
