Summary

This role is aligned to Company-wide policies for IT, Corporate Procurement, Legal, Compliance and Internal Audit. This position will manage the complete work-flow process for IT contract management processes, from intaking of requests to completed agreement.

This position is responsible for the contracting process including reviewing, managing the signing as well as: (A) managing the day-to-day execution of IT based contract management procedure for the Company (including, the DSPD division, the U.S. Business Division, and the U.S. Corporate Division (including global groups), will be responsible for submitting contracts to legal and managing the Legal review process with Business and Vendor; (B) providing employee training on the contract management policy and procedures (C) working directly with Contract Specialists, business owners and vendors on the contracts, (D) tracking all contract status in electronic contract lifecycle management system and creating contract reports for management.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and provide day-to-day execution of IT based contract management process for IT and business colleagues across the Company. Is the lead contact person for the process, intake contract requests, prepare contracts, work directly with internal clients (varying levels) and external vendors. Liaison with Contract Specialist and attorney when necessary to review legal language for company agreements. Negotiate with third parties in coordination with Managers, Contract Specialists and Attorneys to resolve contract language disputes. Work with Legal for renewal of Master Services agreements, License agreements and other non-SOW agreements
  • Accountable for updating and maintaining resource documents, AOP's and AOI's as guidance and other training documentation for employees. Review key proposals for modification, training, concerns or issues. .
  • Provide continuous training within IT that aligns with company guidance on contract management process and technology to ensure compliance by all DSI employees, including new hires. Assist in developing and conducting applicable contract training as needed.
  • Provides support for other projects within IT as requested and assigned.

Education Qualifications (from an accredited college or university)

  • Associate's Degree required
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

Experience Qualifications

  • 1 or More Years relevant corporate, Information Technology and/or pharmaceutical contracting experience preferred
