I: Job Summary

The Analyst, Innovation Strategy will support the corporate innovation program in launching initiatives, engaging employees and enabling innovation that furthers strategic priorities. The Analyst, Innovation Strategy will lead implementation and management of new idea capture and management software/system, support training and contribute to other enterprise-wide innovation initiatives (e.g., Grand Challenge). The position will collaborate with and offer support to senior leaders, managers and employees across all sites and functions to increase awareness of and engagement with initiatives.

II: Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and management of innovation idea capture and management system, including:
o support to the enterprise during adoption, integration and ongoing utilization
o delivery of training on the software
o administrative tasks such as challenge creation, customization, status updates and archiving
o data capture and assessment
o recommendation and oversight of process and system enhancements
o overarching program management
• Support creation, delivery and facilitation of innovation training programs
• Provide administrative support during meetings, including recording minutes and tracking actions
• Support collection and assessment of data from a variety of sources; create/manage dashboard to assess progress against key performance indicators
• Conduct limited industry research to establish and maintain awareness of benchmarks and key characteristics related to successful innovation programs
• Collaborate with external contacts and vendors
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to concept and execute enterprise-wide innovation projects; contend with a variety of perspectives, priorities and challenges
• Provide support to internal customers looking to initiate and launch local innovation initiatives
• Maintain and track communications with numerous internal customers, ensuring awareness and contribution when required, to keep initiatives on-schedule
• Participate in cross-functional teams to support event-driven campaigns, encouraging creative thinking and collaboration to drive successful outcomes
• Apply project management and customer service best practices in the development and execution of initiatives
• Perform other duties as assigned/required

III: Education, Experience & Skills
• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum of 5 years' experience supporting/managing projects or corporate programs
• Demonstrated experience supporting cross-functional teams
• Experience delivering presentations or training to diverse audiences preferred
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong ability to work independently, managing timelines and projects
• Excellent interpersonal skills including influencing and active listening
• Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills
• Thinks strategically, with the ability to quickly understand varied strategies, business challenges and innovation needs within the company
• Proficiency with regularly used software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Project) required
• Prior experience and knowledge of Power BI desirable
• Previous experience within biological sciences industry helpful
