Job Details

We are seeking a post-doctoral fellow with an interest in allergy, autoimmunity, and B cell biology to join the Immunology and Inflammation group at Regeneron. This individual will have the opportunity to lead a basic research project, the results of which may elucidate mechanisms of pathology and inform therapeutic strategies.
In this role a typical day might include the following:
  • Conducting cutting-edge in vitro and in vivo experiments addressing important questions related to humoral immunity
  • Publishing and disseminating data via external conferences and peer-reviewed publications
  • Participating in postdoctoral program activities such as weekly meetings and the annual research conference
  • Presenting data internally, including at lab meetings, trainee meetings, and company-wide seminars
  • Providing ongoing reports of research progress to supervisors and program staff
This role might be for you if:
  • You have a background and/or strong interest in immunology
  • You have experience and/or an interest in working with animals (mice specifically)
  • You can work independently and in a team
  • You have excellent mastery of the technical skills of the field and a knowledge of proper controls
  • You have the ability to develop a research strategy, and evidence of a creative and critical approach to scientific problem solving.
  • You are adept at organizing efforts, correcting the plan based upon results and eventually reporting the results to management either verbally or in writing.
  • You can effectively operate a range of laboratory instrumentation.
  • You possess exceptional organizational skills
  • Proven publication success as evidenced by peer-reviewed publications
Experience and required skills:
  • Superior scientific skills including critical and analytical thinking
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to interact dynamically and constructively with scientific peers, and cross-functionally

The postdoctoral fellow position is for early career investigators to receive a rigorous scientific training at Regeneron under the auspices of a scientist mentor for up to four years. Fellows will be expected to conduct creative exploratory research that results in publications. To be considered for this role you must possess a doctoral degree in a relevant subject area and be looking for your first postdoctoral training.
