We are looking for a Human Resources Business Partner to deliver Human Resources initiatives to assigned client groups in a Human Resource Business Partner role. The Human Resources Business Partner understands business challenges and will support the development of solutions that address client needs. This role builds strong links between Human Resources (HR) strategy and business strategy. He/she acts as an advisor to leadership on organizational and HR-related issues, including but not limited to, performance management, employee relations, change management, employee and leadership development, organization design and effectiveness, talent acquisition, wellness, DEI, and employee engagement to promote and maintain a high-performance culture.

A typical day for this role may include:
• Provides full HR support to assigned client groups, this is done by acting autonomously, as a member of the HRBP team and as a member of the client group
• Demonstrates broad knowledge of HR policies, regulations and best practices and is familiar with operational issues relevant to client group
• Builds a trusting and collaborative relationship with client group and HR colleagues
• Identifies and addresses key drivers of success and people-related needs within the client groups they support. Then works with the leadership of those functions to develop creative and business supported solutions
• Leads various strategic business initiatives with the client group
• Serves as an advisor to management
• Utilizes HR Metrics to provide insight to senior management on attrition, performance, engagement, employee relations, and other measures of success
• Has a primary focus on organizational development and change; facilitates all phases of change management, ensures linkage to company goals, considers impact to employees and the client group. Participates in roll out, communications and implementation.
• Serves as support to the client group
• Ensures all members of the client group have a thorough understanding of employee health and wellness benefits and initiatives, ensures participation as appropriate
• Leads and participates in our ongoing support of our culture of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
• Participates in a variety of interactions with staff at all levels including VP to entry level, including hourly and salaried
• Is the HR point of contact for all HR related questions from the client group
• Maintains a focus on retention of talent through employee engagement
• Compiles engagement survey, conducts analysis and provides summaries to clients to ensure a thorough understanding of engagement drivers, along with action planning to drive improvements, both at the department level as well as individual manager level
• Partners with the business team and employees to enhance employee performance, growth and development
• Ensures all members of the client group have a thorough understanding of talent development and leadership development opportunities, ensures participation and follow through as appropriate
• Collaborates with the Talent Development function to identify and coordinate training support and programs consistent with HR and the organization's strategy
• Works as a partner to the business team to facilitate mid-year and year-end performance management cycle
• Provides coaching to management, with an emphasis on leadership behaviors and in some cases in cooperation with external coaches
• Partners with Employee Relations Lead as it relates to investigations, resolution and follow up, may involve interacting with legal counsel
• Provides coaching and support to employees and to managers through various steps of employee relations matters
• Ensures that HR policies and practices are applied consistently and provides direction and guidance to all levels of management.
• Conducts exit processes and follows up on identified issues.
• Works as partner with HR specialist areas: Staffing, Talent Development, Comp and Benefits, Payroll, HR Systems, Corp Communications
• Participates in screening and evaluating candidates and facilitates decision making within the department regarding new hires
• Works with Compensation on role definition, external comparables/market value of position, annual compensation and other reward and recognition programs, as well as developing career pathways.

Education and Experience:
Minimum of bachelor's degree in a related discipline; advanced degree such as MBA, or Master's or Human Resources is a plus.

For Associate Manager Level- Minimum 7 years experience in HR Business Partner role. Experience supporting a manufacturing organization strongly preferred. Pharma/biopharma experience preferred.
For Associate Manager- Minimum 8 years experience in HR Business Partner role. Experience supporting a manufacturing organization strongly preferred. Pharma/biopharma experience preferred.
For Senior Manager- Minimum 10 years experience in HR Business Partner role. Experience supporting a manufacturing organization strongly preferred. Pharma/biopharma experience preferred.
