What you will do

Lets do this. Lets change the world. In this vital role you will sponsible for the design and generation of novel and complex scaffold molecules, often antibody-based, that are part of the next generation of the large molecules therapeutics. This Scientist will be a part of a multidisciplinary team with capabilities in protein engineering, cloning, expression, purification and characterization of large molecule drug candidate.

• Drive purification and analytics of Multispecific Antibodies and contribute to protein design/engineering of novel biologics molecules.

• Act as a scientific leader with the ability to drive innovation, lead projects, and work independently and in cross-functional teams.

• Develop and implement innovative technologies to improve efficiency and speed of the processes in the biologics optimization organization.

• Provide scientific results that support the generation of publications, patents, or regulatory submissions, and participate in internal and external scientific meetings.

Basic Qualifications:

• Masters degree and 4 years of scientific experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• PhD in Structural Biology/Biochemistry and 2+ of Postdoctoral experience.

• Experience with protein engineering techniques and software (Rosetta, MOE, Pymol, etc.).

• Proficiency in protein purification techniques (affinity purification, ion exchange chromatography, hydrophobic interaction chromatography, SEC, ultrafiltration) and analytical techniques (HPLC, MCE, LCMS, SDS-PAGE, Western etc.).

• A strong track record of research accomplishments in structural biology and protein engineering.

• Experience in laboratory techniques supporting structural biology and protein chemistry.

• Understanding of protein biophysical and biochemical properties that relate to molecule structure.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work flexibly in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
