  • Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
  • Develop and support Headquarters Accounting applications, including daily and semi-monthly processes to collect accounting data from 300+ legal entities worldwide. Develop and support International General Ledger system, Intercompany Billing system, International Sales Accounting system, among others. Scope includes collection for performance and entity reporting across all international divisions (PPG and MPG). Support Sarbanes Oxley requirements as pertains to these applications.
  • Develop and support Headquarters Manufacturing Accounting applications, including TCGM system and systems to support development of cost and profitability for global affiliates. Scope includes working with AI, GPO, ANI at Headquarters and 65+ affiliates to collect, model and report data. Support Sarbanes Oxley requirements as pertains to these applications.
  • Develop and support Financial Planning and Analysis applications, including systems to support performance and entity planning for AI and ANI business by 65+ global affiliates, and system to support development and dissemination of transfer prices.
  • Develop and execute strategy for Division Business Intelligence (BI) solutions. Scope of responsibility includes all affiliates/commercial locations, geographic areas and centers of competence throughout Internationals’ sphere of influence.
  • . Work with the division President, Area Vice Presidents, General Managers, Finance Directors, peer IT Directors and IT Managers at affiliate, division and corporate to develop strategies and plans for Business Intelligence systems that support the achievement of shared business objectives across commercial functions of sales, marketing, and finance subject areas.
  • Provide dotted-line direction to area and affiliate resources to develop and execute strategies and projects that are in line with divisional BI direction. Set overall divisional architecture and technology standards for Business Intelligence solutions, including data models, analytical templates, metadata and master data management strategies; ETL, data auditing and data quality approaches.
  • Direct BI Competency Center at Division Headquarters to ensure leadership in BI methods, practices and key technologies. Develop and disseminate best practices around BI project methodology and BI systems development and support, including but not limited to project management, program governance, architecture and design.
  • Manage vendor relationships for BI. Evaluate and select solution standards. Influence local and area decision makers towards investment in standard, centralized and common solutions.

Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree is required. Masters degree preferred in Business, Computer Science or related.
  • At least 10 years of Systems Design and Development. At least 5-6 years of direct managerial experience and accountability (personnel and financial).
  • At least 5 years of large project management (applications development) experience.
  • At least 5 years of microcomputer, midrange, network technologies.
  • At least 7 years of Business Intelligence application design, development and support experience.
  • At least 2 years of Pharmaceutical Sales and Marketing systems experience.
  • At least 5 years of financial application development and support (international preferred).
  • At least 2-3 years experience internet and collaboration technologies.
  • 14-18 total combined minimum years of experience required.
