Regeneron is seeking a motivated Senior R&D Specialist to join our dynamic

Inflammation and Immunology team to help discover novel therapies. We are seeking a candidate to work on exciting projects to support the discovery and development of new therapies.

As a Senior R&D Specialist, a typical day may include the following:
• Conducting cell line and primary cell-based assay (mouse and human)

experience along with knowledge of flow cytometry (multi-color; 8-10 colors)
• Performing molecular biology experiments, including manipulation of genomic DNA, DNA/RNA purification, qPCR, molecular cloning, making lentiviruses, genome editing using CRISPR/Cas9 technique, and gene knockdown using RNAi
• Performing ELISAs, MSDs, Luminex etc.
• Conducting in vivo experiments using mouse models of autoimmune and inflammatory diseases with training in the proper handling and care of mice, general surgical techniques, and the collection/processing of blood and tissue samples
• Analyzing biological data using GraphPad Prism, FACS DIVA software, FlowJo, SoftMax Pro, and Meso Scale Discovery (MSD) Discovery Workbench software
• Carrying out primary human cell isolation and design/execution of immunological assays
• Contributing to lab and equipment maintenance and order supplies/reagents to help create a safe, effective and efficient working environment
• Maintaining complete, accurate, and timely record of experiments and data analysis

To be considered for this position, you must have a Master's degree in Immunology, Biology, Biochemistry, or related discipline with at least 5+ year relevant lab research experience or Bachelor's degree in Immunology, Biology, Biochemistry, or related discipline with 8+ years relevant lab research experience. Proven hands-on experience with cellular and molecular biology techniques including isolation and culture of cell lines and primary cells (immune cells of human and mouse origin), experience with multi-cellular assays highly desired, transfections, DNA/RNA/qRT-PCR, multi-color flow cytometry, CRISPR, RNAi, ELISA (MSD etc), Western blots, functional assays (e.g. proliferation, cytokine production, etc.). In vivo and ex vivo experience is highly desired.
