Job Details

We seek a Staff Accountant to join a dynamic Collaboration Accounting team, with a high focus on accounting for our revenue generating agreements. Individual responsible for preparing accounting analyses and schedules. Including analyzing information to ensure proper accounting treatment of transactions, specifically relating to revenue recognition, and expense account analyses, including review of accruals and prepaids. Works cross-functionally with key business partners including Finance, and other Accounting groups to gather information necessary for accurate accounting. Ensures that all internal control policies and procedures are followed.A typical day might look like:
• Understand complex collaboration agreements, including, but not limited to, calculations for revenue recognition and review of the related accounts receivable
• Responsible for journalizing and preparing revenue reconciliations for Management reporting
• Responsible for quarterly reconciliation of accounts receivable with Finance
• Responsible for preparing various R&D and SG&A expense account analyses, and the related balance sheet accounts reconciliations
• Work directly with Finance to ensure completeness and accuracy of accruals and reclasses
• Review transactions to determine prepaids in accordance with the Company's Accounting policy
• Perform flux analyses and prepare the related explanations for Balance Sheet and P&L accounts
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrate strong excel and pivot table usage skills
• Ensure compliance with Company's SOX controls and Accounting policies
• Provide assistance to other departments within the Accounting groupThis role might be for you if:Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and accuracy are critical in this position.
