We are seeking a highly motivated QA Engineer, Machine Learning to ensure quality and reproducibility of Inflammatix machine learning software (IML). The IML is the engine used to develop our clinical-grade diagnostic algorithms for diagnosing infections and other diseases. The candidate will be member of Machine Learning department and report to the Senior Software Engineer.


General responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
  • You will work closely with machine learning team, understand the use cases and build, modify and execute unit and integration test cases in Python and R
  • In addition to manual and automation testing, you will also find and implement scalable ways to improve existing testing infrastructure

  • B.S. in Computer Science, Math, Statistics or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 5 years professional experience with all phases of software assurance testing, including test planning, functional testing, regression testing and designing test architecture
  • Professional experience in writing automated tests and unit tests in Python
  • Experience with UNIX-based environment
  • Experience with CI/CD tools

  • Knowledge of GIT, AWS
  • Experience with issue tracking systems (e.g., JIRA)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in isolating issues
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong team player
  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently or as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills,
  • Knowledge of R, machine learning and prior experience in the life sciences industry is preferred
