Job Description:

The Senior Manager provides functional and subject matter expertise in support of the design and delivery of the company's Total Rewards strategy including benefits, wellness and compensation-related special projects. This individual will lead and execute the strategic planning, development, enhancement, implementation and communication of Ipsen's Benefits offerings and will lead and support the implementation of specific compensation-related projects for the region (Employee Stock Purchase Plan, global mobility and assignments …) as well as provides and maintains compensation data analytics.

Responsibilities:
  • Supports Total Reward Program design, implementation and communication as well as respective vendor management to ensure excellent employee experience
  • Supports Compensation Projects locally in North America such as annual salary review cycle, Short-Term Bonus payouts, LTI nomination and Grant process, LTI sell to cover project, compliance communication
  • Manage the design, administration, delivery and support of employee programs and related procedures to ensure successful adoption and compliance with all applicable laws
  • Develops impactful benefits-related HR Analytics, including ongoing reporting of dashboards and ad-hoc reports.
  • Owns competitive analysis, responsible for external market data analysis including data submission to external survey providers on Total Rewards policies and practices as well as compensation, audit of survey data, final reporting and communication of total reward competitive analysis
  • Continually evaluate existing benefit and wellness programs and processes; make recommendations for enhancements or improvements in support of strategic initiatives or as triggered by changes to available environments, regulation, technology or business needs
  • Implement and communicate with respective vendor management to ensure excellent employee experience
  • Manages annual recurrent Benefit Projects locally in North America such as enrollment projects
  • Ensure alignment with global C&B team. Ensure programs and processes are documented and compliant with HR team strategies, policies and governmental regulations
  • Proactively collaborates with HR CoE Teams and Business Partners in program delivery and other projects as assigned. Maintain clear understanding of the integration with other HR and Finance workstreams (e.g. payroll, accounting, etc.) and the downward impact of benefits-related decisions and process changes

  • Lead and support the implementation of specific compensation-related projects for the region, such as Employee Stock Purchase Plan
  • Manage international mobilities for the region in close collaboration with the Int'l Mobility team
  • Contribute to compensation data analytics as well as competitive intelligence network


Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or other related discipline required, MBA preferred
  • CCP or similar certification in Benefits is desirable


Experience:
  • Requires a minimum of 7-8 years of progressive Benefits experience as well as overall HR experience and comprehensive understanding of Total Rewards practices, programs and plans
  • Demonstrated excellent working knowledge of key compensation & benefits aspects of Total Rewards programs, concepts and policies
  • Vendor Management and Program implementation experience


Key Technical Competencies Requires:
  • The incumbent needs to have excellent communication skills to effectively interface with HR and business clients and master also sometimes controversial situations
  • Ability to effectively compose business correspondence, policies and procedures, detailed and executive reports, presentations, and analyses
  • Understanding and application of respective legal requirements, FLSA regulations
  • The role requires strong analytical skills, demonstrated competence in one or more HR information systems, preferably ADP and Workday. Mastery of Excel and intermediate to advanced skills in other Microsoft Suite applications preferred as well as the ability to quickly learn new IS systems
  • Ability to define problems, research and collect data, establish and evaluate facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to make administrative and procedural judgments on sensitive, confidential issues
  • Ability to plan, coordinate, and administer complex administrative systems and processes
  • Eager to help “branding” Total Rewards for Ipsen and drive new and innovative ideas
  • Ability to thrive in a fast pace, rapidly changing environment
  • Deals with ambiguity and is able to change directions when needed
