  • Responsible for the development and execution of the reporting plan of action for production-level reports and ad-hoc reporting needs for multiple sales groups within the Market Access field force.  Responsible for development and implementation (in the production-environment) of field facing reports that provide insight into business trends and customer performance.  Manages the ongoing operations and tools & reporting enhancement implementation for Market Access field reports already in production.


  • Works with Field Force Effectiveness (FFE), Marketing Analytics & Business Insights (MABI), Business Technology Solutions (BTS) and vendor (as needed) partners to translate Market Access business requirements into tools and reports that provide the actionable intelligence for each of the 18 Market Access Sales teams.  Works cross-functionally with colleagues in these groups and other partners to: 1) communicate requirements, 2) design and develop reporting tools, 3) project manage timelines leading to launch of reporting tools, and 4) iterate the same process described above for tool enhancements and evolving business needs.
  • Meets regularly (e.g., weekly, monthly, bi-monthly, etc.) with extended operations teams to monitor processes and timelines to ensure consistent delivery of reports for Market Access Field sales teams.  Troubleshoots operational challenges as they arise and develops proactive solutions to overcome obstacles, while still meeting the needs of report consumers.  Communicates variances to usual delivery timelines with impacted teams and key stakeholders, including root cause analysis findings, temporary solution, and expected delivery.  Works with team to resolve open items and return to normal reporting deliverables and schedules.
  • Supports Market Access field personnel at all levels in building business acumen on sales data and resulting reports. Trains new Market Access Personnel during on-boarding process. Uses experience and knowledge in data sources, analytic methods, and reporting/crediting business rules to educate stakeholders on value of reports to guide field strategic initiatives and tactical priorities.
  • Partners with Market Access Insights (MAI), Market Access MABI Data Strategy and BTS to develop and maintain reporting business rule requirements, and ensures functional requirements document is updated and correct per the business needs.  Clarifies ambiguous requirements with BTS to ensure impactful system updates are deployed accurately and efficiently.
  • Develops relationships with field sales reporting and analysis liaisons to monitor use of reports and tools and to collect feedback.  Implements report and tool enhancements based on feedback from liaisons and coordination with key cross functional stakeholders in tools and reporting.
  • Leverages in-depth knowledge of data, analysis and/or operations methodologies to identify and implement appropriate approaches to address and solve business problems.  Uses a comprehensive understanding of applications used to deliver reports and data to ensure that the end-user customer experience is of the highest caliber. 



  • 3+ years of hands-on experience working with data in pharmaceuticals, systems management roles, project management roles and/or medical roles with advanced degree in business, information technologies, science, or related field; or 5+ years of hands-on experience working with data in pharmaceuticals, systems management roles, project management roles and/or medical roles with bachelor’s degree required.
  • Extensive understanding of pharmaceutical field sales activities, roles, and behaviors
  • Excellent business acumen, understanding of Compliance, Legal, Med/Reg drivers and guidance
  • Understanding of Market Access business, channel strategies, personnel roles, and responsibilities
  • Possesses a comprehensive understanding of applications needed to implement tools and reports; e.g., Intermediate to Advanced Excel Skills with data manipulation/SQL or equivalent.
