Ciao! At Dompé, our success is rooted in our team and our history. We are a private, rapidly growing global biopharmaceutical company.  Founded in Milan, Italy, we have a 165-year legacy of medical innovation. Dompé’s rich history has greatly influenced its priorities today: to innovate for the benefit of patients facing both everyday wellness needs and rare conditions. Dompé operates in two strategic areas in select markets around the world: Primary Care, which includes prescription and over-the-counter products; and Biotechnology and Rare Disease, which recently expanded into the United States.

Today Dompé has 700 employees worldwide and we are excited to be rapidly scaling in the United States. Our R&D hub is currently based in Boston, and the commercial organization is housed in the San Francisco Bay Area.

YOUR ROLE AT DOMPÉ

The Senior Product Manager of HCP Disease Education and Patient Marketing reports to the Senior Director, Oxervate Brand Marketing and will be a member of the U.S. organization supporting Dompé’s breakthrough therapy, the first-ever ophthalmic biologic product (Oxervate) for patients suffering from neurotrophic keratitis (NK), a rare and progressive eye disease. Based on the severity of the disease, a patient with NK may be treated by an Optometrist (OD), Comprehensive Ophthalmologist (GO) or Cornea Specialist.

The Senior Product Manager of HCP Disease Education and Patient Marketing position will be focused on evolving the neurotrophic keratitis disease education HCP campaign launched at the end of 2020, implementing plans and resources to improve the patient experience once prescribed Oxervate and partnering with the Market Access team in developing resources to help patients and offices navigate the process for accessing Oxervate. This position is also responsible for overseeing the advisory board plan and execution to help increase the organizational knowledge of the neurotrophic keratitis market.

The ideal candidate will be energized by working with a cross functional team and will be self-motivated and excited about the opportunity to shape the growth of a growing biotech company developing innovative products to improve the lives of patients.

The Core Responsibilities of the SPM of HCP Disease Education and Patient Marketing Include:

We are looking for individuals who possess an entrepreneurial spirit, flexible attitude, and adaptable nature to join our team.

  • Drive the evolution of “KnowNK”, the neurotrophic keratitis (NK) disease education campaign launched in 2020. Work with multiple internal teams and Opinion Leders (OLs) to understand educational needs related to NK and evolve the existing website and supporting resources accordingly. Create and implement media plan and partner with digital marketing agencies to develop and execute multi-channel tactical plan to ensure the disease education reaches the target audiences – primarily optometrists and comprehensive opthalmologists with cornea specialists as a secondary audience.

  • Implement and expand plan to continuously improve the patient experience once prescribed Oxervate. Identify high priority needs based on patient insights to improve communication, expectation setting and confidence with patients to ensure they gain the most from therapy with Oxervate.

  • Plan and execute Commercial advisory boards with both HCPs and patients.  Identify needs and requirements for commercial advisory boards based on customer type and knowledge gaps to further inform strategies and tactics. Partner with Field Marketing (HCP opinion leaders) and Market Access (patients) teams to identify advisors to participate.
  • Create and evolve resources to help educate HCPs and patients on the process for accessing Oxervate. Identify education needs among HCPs and patients on the process for accessing Oxervate through patient and HCP market research, gaining insights from Field Marketing and Sales and leveraging data available from the Market Access team. Develop and evolve resources to address these education needs.
  • Lead digital marketing efforts related to disease education and patient marketing. Create multi-channel digital approach to maximize reach of disease education campaign and education on Dompé support services including paid and organic search, programmatic and endemic media buys and email campaigns. Lead marketing efforts and digital agency relationship for evolution of the disease education and patient websites.
  • Create and manage KPIs and metrics related to disease education and patient tactics. Identify appropriate metrics and data to understand impact of disease education and patient tactics, and determine adjustments to make if required. Work closely with Senior Manager of Analytics to create reporting and communication plan to inform the broader Commercial organization, including senior leadership.
