Job Description:

The Senior Product Manager will play a key role in the development, creation and execution of the annual marketing and sales action plans. This position will act as a “Product Champion” who provides leadership in the process of developing, creating and executing all high priority commercial initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of all promotional healthcare professional (HCP) education and training initiatives including speaker's bureau training platform
  • Manage Convention plans and activities
  • Lead thought leader feedback activities including Advisory Boards, Councils, etc.
  • Contribute to the development of a Brand Digital strategy and execution across HCP customer segments
  • Liaise with field sales leadership to support execution of strategic account initiatives
  • Work closely with internal colleagues and external vendors to conceptualize, develop, and execute programs and materials
  • Lead the field input team to provide field team feedback to Marketing initiatives
  • Complies with all laws, regulations and policies that govern the conduct of Ipsen U.S. staff


Qualifications

Education
  • Bachelor degree in Marketing, English, Public Relations/Communications or related field from accredited college or university; MBA a plus.

Experience
  • Minimum 7 years progressively responsible experience in Biopharmaceutical marketing
  • Minimum 2 years of Pharmaceutical sales highly preferred.
  • Pediatric product marketing experience preferred
  • Neuroscience and/or specialty/Buy and Bill pharmaceutical marketing experience preferred.

  • Proven ability to successfully work in a cross functional team, and independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve key milestones and business objectives working with peers and colleagues with and without direct authority.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communications skills; ability to communicate with colleagues at all levels of the organization; strong presentation skills required.
  • Excellent skills in MS Office (excel, word, power point, Outlook).
  • Demonstrated strong organization skills: time management and project management.
  • Ability to travel (20%).
