Reporting to the Head of Engineering, Design, and Construction (ED&C), the Associate Director of Project Management shall perform all needed program / project management services required to successfully handle Regeneron's Campus Expansion Program as well as other programs, goals and initiatives of the broader ED&C team. The role requires significant domain knowledge and extensive business experience. This position will also lead cross functional projects and initiatives with the highest resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity.

As an Associate Director, Project Management a typical day may include:
  • Working collaboratively with various business leaders and functional areas to ensure that a well-rounded, complete and thoughtful consideration is given to all potential project partners including those that are impactful to the new construction as well as the operational and logistical considerations needed once the project is built.
  • Supervising all planning, programs, scope, design and construction activities to ensure that all phases of work are done in accordance with corporate standards and contractual agreements that is compliant to schedule and budget requirements.
  • Establishing and maintaining a sophisticated program / project budget, cash flow analyses, and cost estimates, as well as reviewing purchase orders, change orders, and invoices with significant impact on the success of company operations.
  • Develop, supervise, and maintain project schedules; ensure that project objectives with regards to time are met. Maintain client, consultant, contractor, and vendor relationships; manage conflict resolution.
  • Evaluating, developing and selecting standards, tools, and knowledge requirements for Facilities Project Management skills and career development. Provide mentorship, direction, and instruction in Facilities Project Management to team members and colleagues.

  • Have proficiency within relevant software platforms; experience, knowledge, and a track record in project management techniques, concepts, principles, and standards.
  • Anticipate business and industry issues; recommends product, process service improvements.

  • Use excellent judgment and decision-making skills.
To be considered for this position, you must possess:
A bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management with minimum 12 years' experience in related field performing a similar scope of work. The ability to manage numerous tasks/projects simultaneously. Proven experience managing large teams of diverse individuals. Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office applications (word, excel, outlook, power point, etc.) AutoCAD, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat Professional.
