We are seeking a Ph.D. Scientist to join the Oncology Department. The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for the identification and validation of novel tumor drug targets using genetic screening technologies such as CRISPR/Cas9. The candidate should have a strong background in functional genomic screening as well as in cancer biology and/or immuno-oncology.

As a Scientist, a typical day may include the following:

- Design and execute innovative genetic screens in a variety of cell types, e.g., cancer cells, primary immune cells
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across R&D to generate ideas for novel screens
- Create and deliver effective and impactful presentations to colleagues, including senior R&D leadership
- Keep abreast of the latest advances in genetic screening by attending relevant conferences
- Effectively present data at external meetings and in publications
- Manage Research Associates as needed

- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and will be expected to function at a high level in a collaborative setting

To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of a PhD plus 3-5 years of postdoctoral or industry experience in a relevant field. We are seeking hands-on experience with genetic screens. Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proven background with standard biochemical, cellular and molecular biology assays: qPCR, cloning, gene editing and expression strategies, immunoblotting, multiparameter flow cytometry, etc.
