The Senior Product Manager, HCP and Payer Marketing is responsible for the development and execution of initiatives aimed at US Payers and Healthcare Professionals, with an emphasis on field force support and digital channel management and execution.

Responsibilities
  • Plays a key role in the development and implementation of brand strategy and tactical plans, including advertising campaigns, digital strategy, collateral development, congresses, and vendor management.
  • Manages the day-to-day business activities as well as delivering key HCP and payer marketing support for product with flawless execution an implementation of HCP and payer marketing initiatives.
  • Works with cross-functional colleagues from Medical, HEOR, Patient Access, Global Marketing and agencies to help generate key messages and tactics to support continued broad U.S. access as well as building clinical conviction for product.
  • Supports payer-marketing efforts for the Payer field teams in customer strategy, planning and execution (e.g., training, account management tools/resources, and POA needs).
  • Leads all reimbursement and payer pull-through initiatives, including design and implementation of key field reimbursement tools and resources.
  • Plans and oversees execution of activities related to market access and payer-related congresses.
  • Develops insights, strategies, and tactics for reimbursement, distribution, and access to include, but not limited to access website support, payer team tools, provider access tools, sales team messaging and reimbursement/access related sales tools.
  • Contributes to the product brand plan and business with HCP and Payer Marketing
  • Manages relationships with strategic partners and vendors to ensure that projects are completed in a timely and efficient manner while remaining on budget; condition partners for executional excellence and hold them accountable to success metrics.
  • Manages vendor contract processing (purchasing requisitions, invoices, and approvals)
  • Manages educational materials for sponsored laboratory testing programs to facilitate diagnosis of rare diseases and treatment with gene therapies.
  • Supports the development and deployment of HCP and payer marketing unbranded and branded initiatives including objective setting, content development, internal Promotional Review Committee (PRC) review, QC, production, deployment/distribution to the field and performance measurement.
  • Collaborates with multiple functional groups across the organization, including but not limited to Sales, Regulatory, Market Access, Market Research, Commercial Operations, Legal, Patient Advocacy, and Medical Affairs.
  • Develops KPIs and continually evaluate program effectiveness by targeted audiences
  • Benchmarks the product approach with industry best practices and continuously look for ways to improve effectiveness and efficiency
  • Develops and manages the detailed Payer budget.
  • Other relates duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree in biological sciences, pharmacy, marketing or business administration with 7 years of relevant experience in a prior role or 12 years' relevant experience in lieu of degree; 3 years of US pharmaceutical brand marketing experience.
  • Experience in HCP and Payer marketing or advertising, on a pharmaceutical/healthcare brand or in market development, patient advocacy, market research, sales/ sales management or training, market access and/or commercial development areas.
  • Action-oriented and possess strong relationship/communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate appropriately and build consensus across department and the organization.
  • Background and persona to inspire other colleagues on the team as well as gain their respect.
  • Ability to question and evaluate, make recommendations (written and presentations), and participate in constructive dialogue.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, prioritize and manage multiple projects, and effectively influence, collaborate, and communicate with internal and external partners.
  • Demonstrated successes in one or more areas of marketing development, execution and measurement (e.g., market research, campaign development, program development, tactical implementation, ROI analysis).
  • Experience leading the development of integrated communication plans to reach potential consumers along their various touchpoints.
  • 35-40%; including overnight/weekend commitments.


The level of this position will be based on the final candidate's qualifications.
