Responsibilities

 

The University Relations Recruiter (Contractor) will be responsible for full lifecycle recruitment of intern and early career hires. This role is intended to be a 12-month Contractor position and can be a remote position. Responsibilities may include:

 

• Manage candidates through full lifecycle recruitment of key internship and full-time roles, including participating in campus recruitment events, conducting interviews, managing candidate communications, documenting candidate progress in appropriate systems, extending offers and other recruitment-related processes.
• Be a strategic advisor to our business partners by leveraging data and market intelligence to develop innovative university recruitment attraction and sourcing strategies aligned to business priorities.
• Cultivate deep relationships with university staff and student organizations, enhancing AbbVie’s employment brand with targeted universities and organizations.
• Partner closely with business and HR partners to understand intern and early career talent forecasts and deliver to plan.

• Develop and optimize peer relationships within the university recruitment space; compile and communicate university recruiting knowledge, best practices and market trends to team members and key stakeholders.
• Support intern programming and event logistics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3-5 years of related University Relations recruitment experience
• Proficiency in recruiting systems (such as Taleo, Avature, Yello, Handshake, and Brazen) is preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively influence others at all levels in an organization
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Potential for travel for campus recruiting events
• Enthusiasm for talent and the desire to help shape future leaders
