Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Senior Associate IS Engineer to join the Operations Information System organization. This position will partner with Supply Chain to build cutting edge analytics applications. You will need to have the ability to quickly learn about the biotechnology operations value chain, including supply chain, logistics, and manufacturing systems. We are looking for someone who can work independently but values collaboration and learning from others.
Implement solutions for internal clients based on functional specification
Implement new features and applications in support of collaboration and automation
Interact with Amgens Information Security, Identity and Access Management, Records and Information Management teams to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and optimized to protect Amgens information
Perform hands-on technical content development work
Interact with Vendors
Constantly assess new technology capabilities as they present themselves in the market
Contribute to longer-range architecture, strategy and direction for enterprise collaboration
Works with system owners to resolve source data issues and refine transformation rules
Own issues to completion
Basic Qualifications :
Masters degree
OR
Bachelors degree and 2 years of Information Systems and/or Unified Communication experience
OR
Associate degree and 6 years of Information Systems and/or Unified Communication experience
OR
High school diploma/GED and 8 years of Information Systems and/or Unified Communication experience
Preferred Qualifications :
Technical background and in depth, hands-on delivery experience with the following technologies: Miro, Office 365, Box, MS Teams
SCRUM or other Agile experience
Experience with SCRUM Projects, and GIT
Experience with modern web standards and technologies (e.g. HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, cloud APIs)
Experience with organizational adoption of cloud services (on-premises cloud migration) and working with end users and evangelizing Office 365 services
Knowledge of biopharmaceutical manufacturing or experience supporting GMP manufacturing operations
Demonstrated skill in both crisis management and expectation management
Automation experience, preferably in a development environment
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to perform detail-oriented work
Strong organizational, facilitation, work planning, and multi-tasking skills
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to set the context and present on complex subjects in a clear and concise manner.
Attention to detail and experimental/troubleshooting aptitude
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
Ability to identify business patterns used for teamwork and translate the patterns into standardized solutions
Experience delivering new technologies, mitigating risk and delivering innovation while developing training programs crafted to educate end users about basic and specialized applications in a dynamic team environment
