Regeneron manufactures a range of biopharmaceuticals for patients worldwide, including our approved therapeutic proteins and those involved in clinical studies. Our Staff Scientists in QC Technical Resources perform assay development, characterization, optimization, transfer, validation and investigation for the Quality Control group, and collaborate with Analytical Sciences staff on the transfer of analytical methods to Quality Control.

As a Staff Scientist for Biochemistry in the Technical Resources Department a typical day might include the following:
• Participate in assay development and validation for the QC Biochemistry group
• Participate in technical troubleshooting and investigations
• Review new test procedures and assays
• Coordinate analytical assay transfer internally and externally
• Review analytical development reports, assay and process validation reports, and other technical documents for technical correctness and regulatory compliance
• Assist in writing technical sections of regulatory submissions
• Respond to regulatory requests and support audit activities

This job might be for you if:
• You have experience with different electrophoresis methods, including iCIEF (imaging capillary isoelectric focusing), CE-SDS (capillary electrophoresis sodium dodecyl sulfate), SDS-PAGE (sodium dodecyl sulphate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis) and MCE (microchip capillary electrophoresis) and are familiar with current industry guidance for analytical methods.

• You thrive in a fast-paced setting where your priorities can quickly change based on the needs of the business and our patients

To be considered for this position you must have a PhD in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, or related field, with 5+ years of proven experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries. A Sr. Scientist requires 3+ years of experience.
Level is determined based on qualifications relevant to the role.
