ASC is also a member of the National Institute of Technology and Standards (NIST) Genome Editing Consortium where we provide benchmark materials using our unique expertise in stem cell technology and genetic engineering to establish measurements and standards for characterizing genome editing outputs using stem cells

Position: Production Associate

Education:  BA / BSc

 

Ideal candidate should be able to adapt to a fast-paced dynamic environment.  Excellent team work, organization and documentation skills a must. 

 

Technical Skills Required:

 

Experience with aseptic techniques, tissue culture, production runs, QC assays

 

Molecular Biology:  PCR, RNA isolation/cDNA generation/RT-PCR to characterize specific cell markers.

 

Cell Culture: Transfections of mammalian cell lines, iPSC/CHO cell/blood derived cell maintenance, expansion, and characterization (desired).

 

Organization/Document Skills: Experience with generating SOPs, batch records and QC protocols. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

Generation and documentation of various cell product lines and molecular reagent kits (some will be done under GMP)

 

Characterization of various cell product lines and molecular reagent kits

 

Characterization and QC assays of various cell product lines and molecular reagent kits
