The Aging group is committed to discovering novel targets and innovative medicines to treat Age-Related Disorders through an enhanced understanding of Aging. We are seeking a highly motivated research associate to support our discovery and development efforts pertaining to mechanisms of in vivo biological experiments vital to develop cell-based and animal models for testing of experimental therapeutics and for mechanistic biology studies.

A TYPICAL DAY IN THE LIFE AN R&D ASSOCIATE IN THIS GROUP MIGHT LOOK LIKE:
- Validating and advancing various pre-clinical model projects for Age-Related Disorders of various types

- Establishing and performing in vivo and in vitro assays

- Dose compounds by various routes and draw blood (orbital, tail, submandibular) in mice

- Perform ex vivo analysis (ELISA, western blotting, immunohistochemistry)

IN ORDER TO QUALIFY FOR THIS ROLE:
This position requires a Minimum of a Bachelors Degree and 3 years of proven experience working in a lab. This experience must include:

- Mouse Pharmacology Experiments

- Immunoassay work

- Cell and Molecular Biology

We feel that some background in Aging or in Age-related disorders would be helpful but not required.
