Senior Scientist (PhD-level)

We are looking for a PhD-level scientist with drive and passion for innovative technologies. This role will focus on: preclinical cell based assays and disease modeling, focused seminars, technical marketing, and follow-up technical support.

Required skills (compiled for multiple people)

Mammalian cell culture including primary cells and human iPSCs

Experience with industry-standard reporter assay development

Experience with flow cytometry and related cell sorting assays

Experience with quantitative PCR (qPCR)

Experience with Immunocytochemistry (ICC) and other cell based staining methods

Strong communication skills — teaching, technical writing, and oral communication skills

Excited about working in a fast-paced high-pressed start-up environment

Passionate to stay current with new technologies in the biotech industry

Outstanding interpersonal and partnership skills with internal and external parties

Preferred skills:

3D or spheroid cell culture

Experience with High Throughput Screening (HTS)  assays 

Experience with automation instruments for cell culture

Experience with FRET/TR-FRET and AlphaScreen/AlphaLISA assays

Experience with high content image analysis and computational methods

Experience with electrophysiological and LIVE-cell imaging methods 

Experience with fluorescent or bioluminescent reporter assay development.
