Job Summary:

The purpose of this job is to work with DS internal teams to create a process for, manage and generate Benchmark plans and reports for FMV. In addition, this job will work with the Procurement Excellence Director to assess other FMV methodologies where benchmark technology cannot be used or does not commercially exist. Other ad hoc special projects may be requested as it pertains to various topics including benchmark metric creation/reporting, training etc.

Responsibilities:

Create a process for benchmark usage. Create standard request form for obtaining needed information to input into the system. Train and educate others within the team on said process. Maintain & continuously update the process. Seek to be an expert at usage of the benchmark technology purchased / created.

Run all benchmark budget scenarios and plans for the R&D Procurement team as per identified process.

• Obtain all necessary input data for the benchmark
• Understand how to read a protocol and draw from it the necessary additional data required for the tool
• Seek consistency in creating benchmarks - standard & reliable
  Create FMV processes for categories of spend whereby a benchmark tool cannot be used or doesn't exist:

• Assess the landscape of each category for use of benchmark technology
• If not applicable, suggest other FMV methodology
• Create a process for FMV based on said methodology
• Identify with the help of management which role is the best suited to own the new FMV methodology, which may be the role.
  Participate in special projects ad hoc as required.

Qualifications: Successful candidates will be able to meet the qualifications below with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's Degree required

4 or More Years' experience in clinical trial, health sciences or related field (clinical trials) required

Benchmarking process creation, CRO proposal building experience, commensurate experience preferred
