Description:

The Gladstone Institute of Data Science & Biotechnology and the University of California San Francisco Department of Epidemiology & Biostatistics seek to recruit faculty at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level. Candidates will lead a research program in bioinformatics methods development and the application of computational methods to understand disease biology.

Candidates will run a computational lab, but may have an experimental component to their research program. They will be expected to develop extramurally sponsored research programs and to mentor graduate students and postdocs. We are especially seeking colleagues who are excited about doing science in a collaborative environment with disease experts and experimental technology developers.

Qualifications
We invite applications from scientists with Ph.D., M.D., or M.D/Ph.D. (or equivalent) degrees who have a strong background in bioinformatics, genomics, statistics, mathematics, or related fields.
