Method Validation/Qualificaiton Chemist

Piper Companies is looking for a Scientist/Chemist in West Point, PA to join a Technical Support Group for a vaccine/pharma manufacturer.

Responsibilities:

• Weekly meetings with Laboratory Services Group
• Preform method validation/qualification for incoming raw materials
• Perform Product release testing under method guidance from the USP, EP and JP 
• Hands-on experience with laboratory GMP instruments (i.e. AA, HPLC (waters), Autotitrators, NIR, ICP, FT-IR, particle counter, Gas analyzer)
• Experience with compendial method verification & qualification

Qualifications:

• Experience Pharmaceutical Laboratory Operations
• Possesses strong knowledge of compendial methods and regulatory requirements (i.e. ICH,
• USP, EP, & JP).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology or related field
