The Manager, Market Access Operations is a critical role in a fast-paced, energetic US Market Access group. Under the mentorship of the Assoc. Director, Market Access Strategy and Operations, we are seeking someone who assist in execution of key initiatives within market access and drive excellence within the business unit. You will also play an integral part in pulling through projects within the function, and work cross functionally with other teams to accomplish objectives. A typical day may include the following:
  • Assist with development and communication of long-term strategic plans for the Market Access department.
  • Develop relationships with all core functional leads that impact pull-through to help in the execution of key initiatives: Reimbursement Managers (FRM, ORM, RBM teams), Trade/Specialty Pharmacy, GPOs, Payer Access, Patient Support Services
  • Support Brand Access Strategy leads to communicate and execute best practices while ensuring overall brand alignment across the key market access partners
  • Collaborate with the National Business Director to establish and monitor agreed metrics for the access and reimbursement field teams and ensure regular distribution to the field leadership and the field teams
  • Ensure timely and accurate distribution of access and reimbursement activity reports to Sr. Leadership, field leadership and access and reimbursement specialist as appropriate
  • Act as the project manager for key initiatives, working closely with field reimbursement and Patient Support Services subject matter experts, to implement projects effectively
  • Collaborate with Finance to ensure field force budgets are properly aligned with field initiatives and reports generated to monitor adherence to budgets
  • Manage the overall strategic and operations calendar, interact with the NBD's direct reports, organize staff meetings and business reviews

To be considered for this opportunity, you will possess the following:
  • Professional experience; 7+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech or related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelors and Masters degree required. Experience with managing and leading access teams, (PSS, trade, reimbursement, sales) as well as development of access strategy within the high touch biologic market. High analytical ability with the ability to visualize, articulate and derive insights by making decisions that are sensible given the available information. Able to thrive in a highly dynamic, fast paced, continuously changing environment with minimal oversight/direction. You have highly developed communication skills and interpersonal savvy. You must possess knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment, as it relates to commercialization in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry
