Are you a biologist with an interest in drug development for neurological and psychiatric disorders and would like to contribute to this important area in an intellectually stimulating, interdisciplinary academic environment?

Opportunity: Postdoctoral Scholar or Scientist in Translational Neurobiology

The Mucke Laboratory has a long track record of innovation in disease-focused neuroscience and of training leaders in this field. We are inviting applications from talented students and postdocs with matching interests to join our highly interactive team of researchers at the Gladstone Institutes in San Francisco. The successful candidate will participate in an exciting collaboration between our academic research program and a major pharmaceutical company that involves drug development, target deconvolution and mechanism of action studies.

Position Requirements:
Candidates should possess a PhD, MD, or both and have a strong background in neuroscience or other relevant areas of biomedical research, as well as outstanding records of achievement and research productivity in academia or industry.
