What you will do

Let's do this. Let's change the world. In this vital role you will focus on mentoring, assisting, and standardizing Amgen's client application testing using integrated CI/CD pipelines in our DevSecOps framework. You will help develop automated test harnesses and establish test patterns working with client test teams; you will also help standardize test tools, methods, patterns, and templates for use across Amgen. Our DevSecOps framework is built using open-source and AWS services, and our test tools are open-source. Your test experience will range from mentoring and helping teams test custom code development and DataOps, to helping them test and deploy Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) applications into Amgen's cloud ecosystem.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Enhance Amgen's testing practices and improve our scientific and client testing frameworks around unit, CI, load, and performance testing capabilities using our full CI/CD and deployment pipelines
  • Assist client test teams to develop new automated test services that incorporate our full-stack monitoring service early in their testing lifecycle
  • Understand our diverse user community configurations, use cases, and environments so you can work with client teams on how to test their custom or COTS applications end-to-end
  • Develop test patterns that effectively test applications using public cloud environments, particularly AWS and Azure
  • Assist and help data scientists and data analytics teams use and adopt testing in their DataOps lifecycle
