The Senior Manager, Global Development PMO is responsible for providing project leadership and support to the sponsors, initiative leads and project managers of assigned cross-functional strategic change or continuous improvement initiatives. They will support initiatives throughout the project from conceptualization through implementation phases as applicable. This role will also provide subject-matter expertise to further develop the EPIC continuous improvement approach and methodology as directed by the PMO leader.

In this role, a typical day might include:
  • Finding opportunities for continuous improvement within Clinical Development and facilitate the process of maturing ideas into initiative proposals
  • Driving the chartering of strategic improvement or operational efficiency initiatives, support framing questions, defining objectives and developing a project plan with the sponsor, initiative lead and project manager
  • Driving delivery of the assigned initiatives on time and with good quality by facilitating initiative team discussions and by applying project management methodology throughout the life cycle of an initiative, specifically for
  • Defining evaluating and selecting options to address current state obstacles and charter goals
  • Being responsible for detailed design for recommended solutions, including but not limited to process redesign and improvement, defining systems requirements, redesigning organizational design and updating role definition, performance metrics and process documentation
  • Managing introduction, implementation and maintenance of change control
  • Facilitating implementation planning, including needs assessment, planning and implementation or change management, training and communication
  • Supporting partners and senior management engagement and communication throughout the life cycle of the initiative to enable informed decision-making and organizational support
  • Supporting evolution of the framework for embedding continuous improvement, innovation, process efficiency and organizational change within Clinical Development

You have proven experience managing complex, high-impact projects from start to finish
You are comfortable working in an ambiguous environment leading multiple, frequently changing priorities.
You are skilled in chartering of strategic improvement and operational efficiency initiatives

To be considered, you must have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of seven years of related experience (four years with an advanced degree).
