The Validation Engineering department is responsible for plant validation including validated system (Equipment/Process), risk/design and change control compliance. Our team ensures alignment with Global Quality Systems for validation and related functions, e.g. engineering, risk management.
The Validation Engineering position will support the planning and execution of tasks reporting into the Validation Engineering department. This role will support various areas of manufacturing and interact heavily with our quality organization. Expectations of the role include:
- Execute task as required to implement the Validation Master Plan
- Participate with external engineering departments on new installations or system modifications
- Draft and execute change control in compliance with cGMP practices
- Ensures investigations of validation failures are completed thoroughly and documented accurately.
Qualifications
Desired Majors- Engineering (Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, etc) Basic co-op requirments
Desired Skills- Organization, attention to detail, communication, self starter, ability to ask questions, time management, etc
Basic Co-op requirments
- 3.0 minimum GPA requirement and in good standing with the university
- Must have completed at least one year of college studies
- Must be enrolled full-time in a university degree program at the start and end of the co-op
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship (students on an F1 visa with CPT can be accommodated. Students on J1 Visas will not be accommodated).
