Raw Materials Manager

Piper Companies is currently seeking a QC Raw Materials Manager to work within the Quality Control Operations team for an Immuno-therapy Manufacturer in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area

 Responsibilities of the QC Raw Materials Manager  

• Plan and source new raw materials, reference standards, and critical regents
• Establish master service agreements and quality agreements along with purchase orders for materials needed
• Risk Assessment, material qualification mitigation strategies, reference standards, specifications for GMP raw materials
• Review materials testing protocols and reports
• Coordinate sampling, testing and delivery of samples to contract testing laboratories and internally

Qualifications of the QC Raw Materials Manager

• 1-2 years of relevant experience is required
• Prior experience with raw materials along with experience with process development
• Strong working knowledge of current ICH, CFR, and GMP regulations
• Exposure to working with materials suppliers
• Bachelor of Science in related field
