Business Continuity Manager

What you will do
Let's do this. Let's change the world. In this vital role you will use your strong familiarity with Business Continuity tools and methods to work with your Amgen colleagues to identify potential impacts based on threats to Amgen's critical business operations, develop plans to mitigate those impacts and help Amgen build organizational resilience.
- Facilitates Business Impact Analysis (BIA) sessions with process specialists
- Provides guidance and feedback to business clients in the development of and improvement of their business continuity plans
- Collaborates with and provides direction to clients developing realistic exercise scenarios to demonstrate organizational resilience
- Collaborates with team members to advance the Business Resilience Program by continuous improvement to program standards, procedures, processes, training, templates and tools, metrics and reporting
- Provides status reporting and metrics for business clients

Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree
OR
Master's degree and 2 years of related experience
OR
Bachelor's degree and 4 years of related experience
OR
Associate's degree and 10 years of related experience
OR
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of related experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- BS / BA including 4 years in Biotech/Pharma OR 3 years in the Risk Management field
- Certified Business Continuity Planner (CBCP) or similar industry-recognized certification
- Experience with senior management, across functions, global sites and subject areas
- Aptitude for leading a matrixed, cross-functional team of contributors
- Knowledge of Training techniques and tools
