The HR Business Partner provides foundational HR process & program support, and consultation for client groups by applying HR solutions. The portfolio of work includes, but is not limited to, employee relations issue management, talent management, leadership coaching, performance management, HRIS transaction, reporting and other business needs as required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Implement tactical solutions, identifying the path forward, and ensure tasks are completed and aligned with customer and business needs
  • Partner with other HRBPs and HR Centers of Excellence to guide managers and employees through HR business processes (talent management, performance management, recruitment, learning and development programs, etc.)
  • Devise and implement tactical plans for organizational restructures
  • Implement talent strategies
  • Support workforce planning initiatives
  • Coordinate sessions and provide documents and data for talent reviews, succession planning, performance reviews, compensation planning and headcount planning
  • Support compensation analysis and planning, as well as implementation
  • Provide reporting and data on an ongoing and ad hoc basis
  • Responsible for HRIS systems entries and supporting the overall HR team in records management and data integrity, documentation preparation, invoicing, systems support, and audit support. Ensure data is accurate and anticipate impacts of changes throughout systems
  • Guide employees and managers through HRIS self-service transactions
  • Work in collaboration with COEs to deploy HR programs and processes
  • Working closely with other HRBPs, conduct employee relations investigations, analyzing issues, applying processes and policies, and recommending solutions
  • Champion and participate in engagement activities
  • Support compliance activities across sites and client groups
  • Create and maintain personnel files
  • Support accommodations process
  • Support Environmental Health & Safety initiatives
  • Support affirmative action analysis, reporting and planning
  • Support California-based compliance needs
  • Provide on-boarding and off-boarding needs across client groups and locations
  • Maintain workplace postings
  • Provides special project support as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS

Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent work experience required
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant human resources experience
  • Exposure to various human resources functional areas required
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws
  • Experience with HRIS platforms and executing HRIS processes

Skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience multi-tasking in a work environment with multiple priorities
  • Ability to analyze data and provide recommendations
  • Ability to respond effectively to confidential, sensitive inquiries or complaints
  • Detail-oriented, systems thinking and strong judgment on confidentiality and discretion
  • Advocate for win-win solutions
