As a Specialist of Medical Education, you will be responsible for the logistical coordination of our independent medical education (IME) grants and serve a resource for internal Regeneron and Alliance stakeholders. We work in a multifunctional, matrix organization, with colleagues the Medical Education team and Medical Affairs group. You will collaborate with our external stakeholders such as educational providers and alliance partners.

A typical day may include
  • Processing all IME grant requests received in the Grant Management System
  • Scheduling Grant Review Committee and other grant review meetings on a regularly scheduled basis and document accurate notes and meeting minutes
  • Secure and document formal votes according to Regeneron policy for approved grants
  • Maintain accurate and current tracker(s) on the status of all received and approved grants
  • Provide necessary data for dashboards and reports for partners on IME results and achievements based on guidance and input from IME Strategist
  • Compliantly interface/collaborate closely with medical education providers and grant recipients
  • Provide customer service regarding web portal and grant processing (internal and external users)
  • Assist in maintenance and troubleshooting of various IME systems
  • Actively participate in and contribute to IME team and cross-functional meetings
  • Chip into documentation on shared servers to ensure an organized, user-friendly way to retrieve data and all medical education relevant information

To be considered for this you should a bachelor's degree required with an advanced degree a plus. Your experience should include a minimum of 2 years' experience within a medical education/communications/agency and/or industry setting. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or medical affairs is desirable. Expertise with medical and regulatory affairs, drug development, FDA and regulatory guidelines (i.e., PhRMA guidelines, OIG, AMA, ACCME, Sunshine Act, etc.). Experience with a grant management or funding system a plus
