We are seeking a motivated and skilled Research Associate/Specialist to join the Immuno-Oncology team at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals during this exciting time as the field makes major advances harnessing the power of the immune system to fight cancer. You will be responsible for characterizing and validating novel anti-tumor therapeutics, including both antibody-based and cellular therapies, by carrying out in vitro experiments at the bench in the laboratory and in vivo experiments in small animal models. The candidate will utilize standard cell culture techniques and will execute a variety of assays, including ELISA analyses. We are looking for a candidate with laboratory experience using standard cellular biology/immunology/cell-culture techniques. Experience with handling small animals (mice) for research is preferred.

As a Temporary-R&D Associate in Immuno-Oncology, a typical day may include the following:

- Cell culture, including passaging, expanding, cryopreservation, thawing and processing of cells
- Perform various immunoassay techniques (e.g., ELISAs and cell purification)
- Assist with tumor studies in mouse models
- Organization of studies, data analysis, communication of results to colleagues

This role may be for you if:

- You have proven lab-based experience with in vitro assays and basic tissue culture techniques
- You have experience handling mice
- You have the ability to adapt to new situations and pick up skills quickly
- You are highly organized with an attention to detail, and effectively communicate and collaborate with colleagues

To be considered for this role, you must have a B.S. and at least 1-2 years of experience working in a research laboratory environment. We are searching for a candidate with experience with in vitro techniques, such as ELISA assays, and experience working with sterile cell culture techniques for the growth and maintenance of cell lines. Experience with pre-clinical tumor models in mice, including mouse handling and tissue dissection, is preferred. We are seeking a candidate with the ability to manage multiple experiments simultaneously, and who is competent in standard scientific software used for data analysis (e.g., Microsoft Excel and Prism), as well as Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
