Job Details

The Training Operations Senior Manager role is responsible for supervising the lifecycle of all Global Development Training (GDT) supported projects from in-take, tracking and delivery, to close-out and reporting. This person is responsible for partnering with GDT Business Partners, designers, coordinators and the training quality team to understand current and future demand in support of resource and capacity planning.

In this role, a typical day might include:
  • Working with Training Business Partners, designers and coordinators to develop and maintain project scope, landmarks, timelines & results for 100+projects
  • Participating in Leadership Team meetings call outate risks to timelines and target delivery dates and to support decision making for resourcing needs
  • Monitoring project timeline and status from kickoff to completion, provide pertinent status updates via email and Operations meetings
  • Advising on Operational process changes, workflows and new implementations
  • Crafting specification documents and test scripts for technical builds, conversions and process improvements
  • Reviewing all incoming project requests to ensure that all vital information is included and assigning resourcing once scope is provided
  • Having oversight of GDT portfolio performance, leading project quality assurance, and developing processes and systems to manage portfolio.
  • Supervising, developing, improving, and maintaining project management tools, reporting, and data management
  • Tracking and maintaining project tasks and status, and communicate to wider team
  • Leading and driving GDT project portfolio schedules and estimates
  • Providing a single view across all GDT projects/initiatives including metrics, progress, project pipeline, staffing, etc.
  • Monitoring and reporting on progress of projects to all GDT
  • Building and presenting status and leadership reports
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

This role might be for you if:
You have experience managing and executing sophisticated projects, and adjusting accordingly based on cost, scope and resourcing capacity.
You have proven success overseeing the formal planning, tracking, and reporting of project performance, as well as some experience working with cross-functional teams.
You ideally have familiarity with data organization, connectively and spreadsheet functionality.

To be considered, you must have a Bachelor's degree. At least 10 years of project management experience is helpful. Knowledge of Smartsheet platform is also ideal.
