Job Details

Amgen is seeking a highly motivated Senior Associate of Business Performance - Results Delivery Office (RDO). The Senior Associate will report to the Vice President in the RDO and provide vital support for high priority business transformation initiatives. The RDO is focused on supporting improved business performance, target achievement and strategic initiatives that are key to Amgen's future performance. The person in this role will operate as a shared resource across multiple projects and will interact regularly with RDO "liaison" staff on project teams to drive successful implementation.

Responsibilities of the Senior Associate of Business Performance - Results Delivery Office include:
  • Project workshop planning and support, including creation of virtual whiteboards and facilitation support
  • Tracking of financial metrics, project status details, and other key performance indicators
  • Documenting meeting minutes, action items, and performing related tracking/follow-up
  • Meeting scheduling
  • Training support
  • Support teams using Agile/Scrum methodology in the project launch process
  • Project management support as necessary
  • Ad hoc analysis and special projects


Basic Qualifications:

Master's degree OR Bachelor's degree and 2 years of work experience OR Associate's degree and 6 years of work experience OR High school diploma / GED and 8 years of work experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of workforce experience
  • Excellent Excel/PowerPoint skills
  • Experience using Smartsheets
  • Experience using virtual collaboration tools (Miro, Webex, MS Teams)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Project management certification
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate cross-functionally in an organization
  • Energetic, detailed oriented, highly motivated with a "can do" outlook
  • Proven ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations and team environment
  • The ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
