What you will do

Let's do this. Let's change the world. In this vital role as a System Owner and Reliability Engineer you will perform maintenance support activities for existing and new manufacturing equipment, provide technical expertise on their maintenance strategy and supervise equipment performance metrics. This role will be reporting to the AML6 Drug Substance operations supporting first administrative shift and extended hours as per business needs. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Work Order Database Equipment and closing ownership.
  • Define and implement equipment maintenance strategies while optimizing cost, compliance, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Facilities and Engineering staff to ensure the best maintenance strategy on manufacturing equipment is aligned with current operations.
  • Revise and own spare parts lists for new equipment and add to the Work Order Database.
  • Develop preventive maintenance strategy & instructions and implement in Work Order Database.
  • Supervising equipment performance metrics (ex. Downtime, OEE, etc.).
  • Ensure maintenance instructions are accurate, effective and support compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Work Order Database and reliability change control assessment and requirements.
  • Review SOP related to equipment maintenance.
  • Assist with development of Lock Out -Tag Out Procedures for new equipment.
  • Additional maintenance support activities as needed.

Master's degree in Engineering

OR

Bachelor's degree in Engineering & 2 years of Engineering experience

Beyond that, the additional preferred qualifications are:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical and/or Chemical Engineering.
  • 2+ years' experience in engineering, reliability engineering or maintenance.
  • Knowledge and experience with operation and maintenance of sophisticated electro-mechanical equipment and systems.
  • Knowledge and experience with fluid transfer systems including valves, pumps, piping and pressure vessels.
  • Proven skills, knowledge and experience utilizing a computerized maintenance management system.
  • Experience with Maximo.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English & Spanish
  • Ability to work with minimum direction.
  • Proven industrial safety background.
  • Proven planning and organizational skills.
