Who You Are:

M&A at BridgeBio is focused on in-licensing, mergers, acquisitions, and other transactions with external companies.

The Senior Associate/Associate Director, M&A will report to the SVP, M&A, and play a key role in shaping the activities of the function. This is a high exposure role, and the Individual will Interact with senior company executives internally and externally, investment bankers, and venture capitalists across the biotech/pharma ecosystem.

The individual will have the opportunity to grow in their role over time depending on performance and/or transition to different functions within BridgeBio if they so choose.

  • Prepare in-depth opportunity landscapes
  • Build financial/commercial forecasts for drugs/drug candidates
  • Conduct scientific diligence with a particular focus on commercial-stage biotech companies
  • Conduct relevant financial analyses using FactSet/Bloomberg to support the function's transaction activities

Education, Experience & Skills Requirements:
  • 1.5 to 6 years of relevant business experience from top consulting firms, investment banking, equity research, or industry
  • An undergraduate biology/biochemistry/chemistry degree is required. A Ph.D. and or MD or both Is not required but preferred
  • Passion for getting lifesaving medicines into the hands of patients as quickly and efficiently as is humanly possible
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Problem-solving while anticipating potential problems
  • Must be comfortable with ambiguity
  • Fast (extremely fast) learner
