Background on Trudeau Institute Trudeau Institute is a mission-directed non-profit research institute with a long history of infectious disease and immunology research, and in recent years has been advancing a new “Trudeau 3.0” era that specifically and successfully targets translational science capabilities of high relevance to partners in our network.  Our branded TICRO Bioservices operational team has been the hub driving a large proportion of our program services revenue to date.  Repeat business has been excellent. The Institute is engaged in seeking potential major partnerships for long-term coordinated research services and innovative collaborations to expand the scale and scope of external revenue.  Notably the Institute features a superb biosafety BSL-3 lab suite ideal for preclinical research on challenging pathogens from the ancient TB microbe to the novel Coronavirus. The Institute deploys our specialized BSL-2 and BSL-3 laboratory animal facility and technical staff into high-impact studies to accelerate new medicines and vaccines to protect our health against global-scale pathogens and emerging threats, from the pursuit of the universal influenza vaccine, to new defenses against antibiotic-resistant microbes, strengthening immunity in the elderly, and more.   The President of Trudeau Institute, Dr. Atsuo Kuki, is a former drug discovery technology executive in biotech and Pfizer Global R&D.  This perspective shapes our leadership team’s focus on high-value translational science, to bridge and to mutually serve the research institute’s and biopharma industry’s needs. Our priorities are to amplify our currently focused network of select biotech, pharma, and government partners, by expanding in innovative ways to new partners and clients who will serve as the cornerstone of our expanded program services revenue.
