As a Data Analyst in Precision Medicine you will help us with clinical trial data management and data analysis. This role encompasses exploratory analyses and visualization of omics, EHR, wearable sensor, image, and other biomarker data. We develop tools and dashboards for querying, visualizing, and real-time monitoring of biomarker data quality, missingness and generating reports to support sample and biomarker data reconciliation. We work to assure data integrity, best practices for analytics and data visualization, architecting database solutions, and offering strategic insights.

A typical day may include the following:
  • Providing computational and technical expertise on data storage structures, data mining, data cleaning, and visualization. You will use technical tools, language, or custom coding and systems analysis to clean data and select or create datasets for analysis.
  • Utilizing technical and computational expertise for reporting real-time monitoring of data quality and missingness for rapid follow-up to facilitate efficient resolution of queries in support of sample and data reconciliation efforts for Regeneron Clinical Trials.
  • Performing data mapping for systems integration, data provisioning, and data consumption using advanced knowledge of structured data, such as entities, classes, hierarchies, relationships, and metadata,
  • Collaborating closely with Precision Medicine Quantitative Translational Sciences to analyze data of all types.
  • Integrating complex datasets to perform statistical analysis on exploratory biomarker data and clinical endpoints, providing support across a range of Precision Medicine and biomarker studies.

To be considered for this you should have a minimum of Bachelor's or Masters in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Signal Processing, or a related field. Your experience should include 3+ years with high level data analysis and a solid understanding of clinical trials.

Other requirements include:
High proficiency with data cleaning and statistical & machine learning modeling in Python, R, MATLAB, C and/or C++ in a Linux environment.
Familiarity with webtool, API, and database development.
Solid attention to detail and curiosity of how digital technologies work.
Experience with statistical modeling/regression, time series analysis, machine learning and feature selection, and other relevant data blending abilities required.

Preferred skills would include: Digital Signal Processing, detection, synchronization, channel coding/decoding, parameter estimation & tracking, (e.g., Fourier transform/wavelet transformations) a plus.
