We are seeking an Intern for our Pharmacometrics team. If you're a student pursuing a PhD in Pharmacokinetics, Pharmacology or related field, you may be a fit for an internship in our Pharmacometrics department.
This intern will summarize and compare different methods of allometric scaling. He/she will do the following to achieve this goal:
Skills in SAS or R; NONMEM or Monolix are strongly preferred.
This role might be for you if:
To be considered for this opportunity, you must be enrolled in, or accepted to, an academic program pursuing a degree (and be returning to school the semester following the internship). A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 is required. Must be able to commit to 40 hours per week for a 10-week period this summer. Demonstrated leadership in areas such as campus activities, clubs, sports or the community is also preferred.
This intern will summarize and compare different methods of allometric scaling. He/she will do the following to achieve this goal:
- Search, explore, and summarize literature;
- Explore and summarize Regeneron clinical and preclinical data;
- Explore correlation of beta half-life and target-mediated clearance between animals and humans;
- Explore correlation of FcRn binding affinity with beta half-life using Regeneron clinical and preclinical data;
- Explore/suggest other ways to predict doses in humans based on animal data and/or publications.
Skills in SAS or R; NONMEM or Monolix are strongly preferred.
