The Senior Director will be a member of Regeneron's Oncology Business Unit and New Products Team that will lead launch planning and provide input to the development for assigned oncology assets in Regeneron's hematology oncology portfolio. This person will provide strategic leadership and cross-functional direction to effectively drive the early global commercialization activities for oncology assets.
  • Lead the global commercial development and execution of strategy for assets that will support launch readiness. This will include bispecific antibodies, other oncology assets, and diagnostics that optimize the commercial value of the lead indication, as well as future indications by developing global launch plans, long-term disease strategy and revenue forecasts
  • Provide strategic leadership to the cross functional team, as well as represent the commercial perspective on the Strategic Program Development Teams (SPTs)
  • Provide commercial direction and decision making to optimize success at launch across all stages of development; including early positioning, robust and relevant target product profiles, early HEOR and MA (strategy including pricing), forecasting, input into optimal Phase II/III/IV design, life-cycle management, pediatric development and scientific / promotional communications, INN/USAN naming protocols and optimizing dosing and delivery strategy.
  • Work with Market Access and HEOR to develop differentiated strategies and compelling value propositions to secure market access. Ensure an early market access strategy that spans all product indications, markets and audiences is agreed upon and incorporated into clinical development plan.
  • Develop and lead annual budgets, long range plans and resolving best allocation of global resources for the brand/indication
  • Works with regional (North America, EU, LatAm, AsiaPac & JPN) marketing & sales management, legal, regulatory, medical and market research to ensure understanding, alignment and implementation of strategy.
  • Represents oncology new products portfolio to senior management and other internal/external partners.
  • Ability to lead strategically, drive performance, build alignment, advise, negotiate, and collaborate
  • Strong science background with knowledge of immuno-oncology, heme-oncology and solid tumors. A plus if experiences includes experience across a broad range of tumor types
  • Proven teammate with ability to navigate cross functionally.
  • Ability to work well with, influence and provide direction to multiple functions as part of the disease team
  • Lead commercialization team, (market research, market access, forecasting, commercial operations, strategic intelligence, medical affairs, HEOR, finance, product communications, and regulatory)
  • Effective communication. Experience in delivering sophisticated messages to various internal and external customers with a track record of effective and influential presentations
  • Strong executive presence and ability to connect with senior leadership both internally and externally
  • Demonstrated initiative, creativity, strategic capabilities, and work effectively in sophisticated, constantly evolving environments
  • Strong project and process leadership skills, along with the ability to work on tasks, and to efficiently prioritize
  • Conceptualize and articulate a vision for brand that energizes all functional areas and partners
  • Strong analytical skills both quantitative and qualitative
  • Shown success within strategic alliances
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree Required with preference for advanced degree in a Scientific field
  • Previous experience with partnerships with both R&D and Commercial
  • Minimum of 15+ years of biopharmaceutical experience with 12+ in marketing role required
  • Previous experience in new products marketing leadership role is strongly preferred
  • Experience with US and Global marketing and pre-approval planning of oncology drugs is required; with experience in Pricing and Market Access requirements and strategies for approvals in ex-US markets.
  • Previous product/indication launch experience required
  • Prior experience managing Alliances
