Job Description

*Manage field sales team in South Central Region . Texas is the ideal location for a candidate to reside

Responsibilities:

Meet regional sales targets by implementing strategies and tactics within assigned regional geography. This involves continuously raising expectations of individual and team performance, motivating and support team efforts while adhering to CSL Behring Core Values.

Ensure effective selling efforts based on strategic selling model to ensure region's success. This includes providing timely feedback, direction and development guidance to team to help them in current and future positions.

Has responsibility for oversight and effective management of all team members (i.e. direct reports) to include but not limited to the following:
  • Annual objective setting
  • Mid-year and end of year reviews
  • Coaching and counseling as appropriate
  • Employee development
  • Recruitment, selection and development of talent
  • Managing, directing & measuring work on an ongoing basis. Provides timely constructive feedback to ensure quality of work meets or exceeds company standards
  • Assuring work is completed in a customer focused manner


Field time and travel expectation is 60% within a regional geography, to include coaching representatives. Field contact reports will be provided post all field work to ensure proper feedback and coaching is maintained.

Work closely with the marketing departments to support implementation of marketing programs and resources for all promoted products. Allocate regional resources to support the optimal implementation of marketing programs.

Make effective day to day decisions required to manage the sales function, including deploying resources, allocating costs, directing sales activities, obtaining and analyzing information to identify key issues and commitment to action after weighing alternative solutions.

Help secure and maintain customers through high-level customer contacts. Improve customer service and satisfaction through flexibility, innovation and improvement techniques.

High level of collaboration to ensure coordination of regional activities with other Regional Sales Managers, Sr. Director of Sales, Sales Training, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and other internal depts. as needed.

Ensure field utilization of CRM system to track and monitor sales results, call activity and enhance the region's 360° view of the customer. (i.e. Adherence to current expectations of daily entry of calls, timely lead follow up, utilization of analytic reports).

Analyze regional performance and develop and implement regional specific action plans to increase sales while anticipating and managing obstacles and roadblocks.

Consistently keep the organization's strategies (3 pillars) at the forefront of regional actions. Encourage and support team efforts to meet challenging goals.
