Arcus Biosciences was founded on the vision of creating new cancer therapeutics through the utilization of unexploited insights in immunology. The company was formed in 2015 by a group of seasoned researchers from the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Arcus Biosciences is now a clinical-stage company, with 4 compounds (2 antibodies and 2 small molecules) being evaluated across multiple different clinical trials. Arcus also has a robust pipeline of preclinical and discovery programs that will continue to fuel the development pipeline. The recently announced multi-year broad collaboration with Gilead Sciences will greatly accelerate our clinical development activities and will create a unique professional opportunity for experienced individuals in all aspects of drug development, including Scientific Computing.

We have an opening for a Research Informatics Analyst with experience in data management and analysis to work independently and collaboratively with members of the Research and Clinical teams.  This position is critical to manage the data and workflows surrounding Arcus’ antibody/small molecule research and ongoing clinical studies and will contribute meaningfully to the development of tomorrow’s medicines from our headquarters at Hayward in the SF Bay Area.

  • Ability to work independently and as a team partner capable of understanding and extending the scope of the departmental mission and its operations
  • Experience working across functions in drug discovery – several years of exposure to small molecule lead optimization and sample management activities is essential, in addition to a basic competence in drug discovery laboratory workflow capture with software solutions
